Juan Carlos Trujillo, jtrujillodlsi.ua.es, is a full professor at the University of Alicante, Spain. His research area of expertise includes relational and multidimensional databases, conceptual modelling, data mining, requirements engineering and business intelligence.
Alex Borgida , borgidacs.rutgers.edu, is a professor at the Department of Computer Science, Rutgers University U.S.A. His research interests include improved software development techniques, description logics, conceptual modeling, ontological foundations of qualities and measurements, and requirements engineering languages.
Nicola Guarino , guarinoloa.istc.cnr.it, is the Research Director at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies of the Italian National Research Council (ISTC-CNR), where he leads the Laboratory for Applied Ontology (LOA). Current research interests include service science, socio-technical systems, and e-government.
Giancarlo Guizzardi , gguizzardiinf.ufes.br, is a Professor of Computer Science at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) in Brazil. His area of expertise is in employing results from formal ontology, logics, cognitive science and linguistics to address a number of problems in Software Systems Engineering (Conceptual Modeling, Software Language Engineering, Requirements Engineering, …)
Renata Guizzardi, rguizzardiinf.ufes.br, is a Professor in the Computer Science Department of the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) in Vitória, Brazil. Her research interests include knowledge management, goal modeling, business process modeling, and ontologies.

Fabiano Dalpiaz, dalpiazcs.toronto.edu, is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science, University of Toronto, Canada. His research interests include self-adaptive socio-technical systems, requirements modelling, and secure and trustworthy composite services. He was involved in Lucretius (2011-12) in the context of self-adaptive socio-technical systems.
Alexei Lapouchnian, lapouchniandisi.unitn.it, was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Trento. His interests included variability in software engineering; business process modeling and management, and multiagent systems.
Vítor E. Silva Souza, vitorsouzainf.ufes.br, concluded his PhD in 2012 and worked for a brief period as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Trento under the context of the Lucretius project. Today, Vítor is a professor at the Department of Informatics of the Federal University of Espírito Santo (Ufes).
